A thoroughly modern sport using modern equipment and techniques. The defining characteristic of telemark skiing is the “free heel” binding which leads to the elegant genuflected turns of the telemark skier. If you are a good skier, two afternoons of instruction will suffice for you to start having some fun on green and blue pistes. If you are a complete beginner, the progression will be at the same rate as if you were learning to ski. So why learn to telemark? It feels very different from skiing or snowboarding. The movements are elegant, the sensations are new (and of course you’ll impress the hell out of all your mates down the pub!)

Our lessons and guiding sessions are all offered on a private basis for adults and children alike. We’ll take up to six people in a group of family and/or friends which keeps things comfortable for everyone.

We can cater for all levels of skier, from the complete beginner to the accomplished, even expert skier wanting to refine his or her technique. Taking a private guide is also a fantastic way to discover the vast area of the Espace Killy, making sure that you get the most out of your skiing with none of the stress of being in a resort you may not know.

We offer either three- or four-hour sessions in the morning which really enables us to optimise our time on the slopes, mixing up technical coaching (for those who want it) with skiing for fun. If you’re looking for purely technical content, you might want to consider our shorter afternoon sessions. If you choose to go for full days, we also have the option of skiing in other resorts such as La Rosiere/La Thuile, (worth it for the great Italian food at lunchtime!) or La Plagne, Les Arcs etc.
